BREAKING NEWS: Upcoming Avant-Garde Band "i no longer set my friends on fire" is rumored to have been chosen to make the soundtrack for Geometry Dash's upcoming updates

Yesterday (June 21st), Robert Topala, creator of the 2013 mobile sensation popularly known as Geometry Dash, uploaded cryptic pictures to the game's Discord server, that many fans theorize could indicate that a new update might be on development. The picture is attached below:

The image, which was marked as an important announcement at the time of it's publishing, features a picture of the popular rapper commonly referred to as Jay-Z, staring at the camera, without any text or contextualization provided. And with the lack of knowledge of the community, the image was subject to a lot of speculation, with the most popular assumption being that this could possibly be a new update.
We interviewed Daviiscool14, a very popular creator in the Geometry Dash community to get his opinion on this whole situation: "While I do think the thought that the image might be hinting towards a new update is possible, I think there is far too little context here for us to actually understand what is truly going on." He said. "In my opinion, if this really is about the upcoming 2.21 or possibly even the 2.3 update, this could be about a new artist that would make songs and just work on the sound aspect of the game in general. Obviously, it is rather outlandish to say that Jay-Z would make the soundtrack (After all, his music has nothing to do with Geometry Dash), though it could be a reference to the fact that a new artist will be chosen."
So, to summarize: Geometry Dash's lead developer has just sent a cryptic message through the communications app, and has left everyone puzzled. This has lead the community to believe this is a teaser (or, at the very least, something to inform people) about upcoming updates. And this is where "i no longer set my friends on fire" enters in the story.
"i no longer set my friends on fire" is an avant-garde ambient lofi metal band formed under the bassist (Kwery)'s bed by a group of Geometry Dash players. The group has only existed for approximately 3 hours, though they have already achieved a large following after their debut single, "Song About Shemar Moore".
The band has just posted to their Bluesky page the same exact picture of Jay-Z, which has lead many people to believe that they will be working in Geometry Dash's soundtrack. Although neither side has actually confirmed it to be true, it is evident that there is something brewing between the band and RobTop.
